Our neighbor’s son celebrated his 10th birthday last night. There weren’t many guests because they already had a celebration in school. They only invited us closest neighbors for a dinner.
There were only around 7 of us and 4 kids. Little C was the youngest guest who happily devoured a cupcake and played with the celebrant’s train set. During dinner conversation, we learned the family will be heading to United States for spring break to visit Disney World in Florida. Since the trip is their birthday gift to their son, they will be staying in one of the Disney hotels for five days before they visit their relatives in California.
Everybody was excited for them and we heartily gave our wishes and congratulations for their trip – which happens in less than a month now. We went home with Disney goodie bags and though they called it as simple dinner, I can’t help but be amazed with the enormous Disney cake at their hall table. It was inspired by this:
